South Bay Clean Power is a volunteer citizens working group with residents from Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach and Torrance working together with city council members, city staff and other area elected representatives to explore the feasibility of creating a community choice aggregation (Community Choice Power) program along with other cities of the South Bay. Since April of 2014 the South Bay Clean Power working group has been researching, educating and encouraging local South Bay cities to form a Community Choice Power program based on the model and success of Marin Clean Energy and Sonoma Clean Power.
