Happy national women in construction week!

Wanted to show some love for my spontaneous, fun, and creative sister .

She doesn't work with us here at Adroit Builders, but she does work and they do some pretty amazing things over there in Oahu. I would like to think that she has a big hand in the amazing work. Selfishly I think this because she probably got it from her older brother (me 😁)!!

From 2,500 miles away we're celebrating your advocacy for women in construction.

PS I know the photo looks AI, but I can assure you it's not. Taken on a beach just down from her home and she just happened to be sportin the Adroit Builders hoodie that day. I miss Hawaii now... Oh, and you too sis!

A few weeks back we were fortunate enough to celebrate the holidays with the team and the people that are important to them outside of work. This year was one of the busiest and most hectic years we've had. Having a solid team and support around us helps everyone push through when things get tough. I have grateful for everyone that continues to learn and grow everyday together and helps build the company to its best potential with the highest standards.

From everyone here at Adroit Builders we'd like to wish everyone a great holiday season and a prosperous new year!

I was happy most of the team was able to make it to la lunch gathering to celebrated the last day for one our employees of 9 years and eleven months, Alex. When he told me 4 Months ago he was going to leave at the end of March it was bittersweet. He will taking on a huge challenge of starting his own business and we're happy that we were able to get him to achieve this goal. Alex has been a core member of our team over the years. He has been a teacher to many and a friend of everyone. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Yesterday, one of our foremen, Gilberto, had his last day with Adroit Builder's. It was nice some of our company were able to join us for lunch to see him off. I have never had someone give me a 9 month quit notice. Being the thoughtful and responsible man he is, he didn't want to leave the project he was in charge of until it was complete, he wanted to see it through to the end.

He had some nice words in his last days about my mentorship and giving him the opportunity to grow. I wish him the best of luck on his next chapter of being a licensed general contractor and business owner.

Had a great day at the Pacific Coast Building Conference in San Francisco today. We brought a few of our people that are involved in purchasing, so together we can see new innovative products that we can use in our projects. Plus it got them into an air conditioned building and out of this heat wave!

So some how a mouse got in my tool box and ate my leather nail bags... I got the old set customized at a small leather shop (Bob's Leather) in Orangevale, Ca about 15 years ago and they definitely outlived their lifespan,. Since I didn't wear everyday I thought I could make them work, even with all the holes and tears.. I still like to have a set for layout or jumping in on the action, so I decided to try something lighter weight this time.

I decided to go with and the "trim set" because of the size, layout and positive reviews by people I follow here on IG. My girlfriend is calling these my valentine present to myself. 😁

Joel, was really easy to work with and responded quick with any questions. He even personal autographed my shipping box that my pup was so interested in! 😂

Can't wait to run these bags through the motions!
