We are also looking to add a new Excavation/Construction Foreman to our team! We are a family and veteran-owned company based out of Rehoboth, MA, with over 30 years of experience in both commercial and residential excavation.

As a Foreman at MJD, you will work on various residential and commercial job sites throughout the stages of construction. Our Foremen work Monday-Friday, with possible overtime on Saturdays.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy individual with the drive to become a valuable member of our team. Our ideal candidate with have 5+ years' experience as a Foreman on excavation/construction sites, a valid and up-to-date hoisting license, a valid and up-to-date driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities/Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to safely operate excavators, loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, backhoes, etc.
- Ability to read/interpret site plans.
- Ability to supervise & coordinate job site activities.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Good, working knowledge of construction tools/equipment.
- Follow safety procedures/protocols.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Work alongside others to complete daily tasks.
- Troubleshooting/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assist work to others; ability to properly train new workers.
- Basic record-keeping skills.
- Basic machine/equipment maintenance.
- Previous experience required.
- Physical stamina required (i.e. ability to withstand heat, cold; ability to lift heavy objects).
- Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong work ethic.

As a Diesel Mechanic at MJD, you will perform regular, preventative maintenance, as well as minor and major repairs, on an array of light and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment. Our Diesel Mechanics work Monday-Friday, with possible overtime on Saturdays. Repairs and maintenance will be performed at our shop as well as in the field.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy individual with the drive to become a valuable part of our team. Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a diesel mechanic, a valid and up-to-date driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.

MJD Excavating, Inc. is currently looking for a full-time, experienced Diesel Mechanic!

Our successful candidate will perform regular, preventive maintenance as well as minor & major repairs on various pick-ups, heavy duty trucks, trailers, and heavy duty equipment. Maintenance and repairs will be conducted at our Rehoboth Garage, Swansea Aggregate Yard, and in the field.

The position is Monday - Friday with possible overtime on the weekends. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, knowledgeable, and have at least 2 years experience as a mechanic.

Job Duties:
-Estimating & managing large scale construction jobs.
-Gathering information & requirements for jobs.
-Preparing job budgets by analyzing plans, revising specifications, & identifying/projecting costs for each project.
-Obtain bids from vendors/contractors/developers. Identifying & evaluating favorable bids by cost, additional work, job site requirements, etc.
