It’s official! This beautiful sign is on our wall has made it so! We just can't stop looking at it!
Huge shout out to the amazingly talented, Grant Kaye, TTL Director of Marketing & Community Outreach AND artist extraordinaire for creating this gorgeous signage for our Truss & Components Division!!! Grant was assisted by Michael Crabb, contractor, woodshop steward and teacher at the Truckee Roundhouse (http://truckeeroundhouse.org). We are so fortunate to have such amazing talent on the TTL team!

Happy 4th of July!

On Monday, TTL officially added us to the family and took us on a grand tour of all TTL locations in Reno, Sparks, USA Parkway and Truckee. CEO Andrew Cross was our guide and MC for the day. We traveled together by bus along the Truckee River, through our beautiful desert with wild mustangs and up to Truckee’s tall pines and beautiful mountain views. Each stop was showcased with history, various operations, snacks, swag, and great people. The Design Center was a treat with all its creative accent options sure to make each home unique. The tour wrapped up at the NVO plant which is now TTL’s TCD (Truss Component Division) where TTL personnel were able to tour our location, see our manufacturing floor and learn about component operations. The evening wrapped up with a party in the plant and lots of new friends! Thank you, Hasta La Muerte Tacos, Cheers Mobile Pub, and Amplified Entertainment, for the great food, drinks and songs. And Thank You very much Truckee Tahoe Lumber and the Cross Family for this amazing welcome! We are excited to be a part of the team and to begin this new phase in TTL’s history where we can offer complete building packages from locals to locals and beyond!

Thank you for the fantastic article about our recent acquisition of NVO Construction, which as of July 1st will be our brand-new Truss & Components Division!

“Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co. really just wants to service framers,” President & CEO Andrew Cross said. “With the whole framing package available between the lumber yards and the production warehouse, we will make it easier for framers to move quickly from framing through rolling trusses.

“This acquisition is probably one of the most important things we will do in the next three years,” Cross added. “We may stub our toe a bit, but we will get stronger. In the next few years we will have it fully refined and perfectly humming, but it’s going to take the majority of our focus.”

The acquisition includes a 75,000-square-foot manufacturing facility located in the Stead area of Reno, NV, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

Since 2021, NVO has been proud to provide a broad array of construction components to our valued customers. In just three years, we have expanded our product line to include roof and floor trusses, panelized roof and floor cassettes, prefabricated wall panels and prefabricated stairs.

Our goal has always been to continue to innovate and grow our manufacturing capacity and capabilities to meet your production goals while maintaining our local roots. That’s why we are excited to announce that, as of July 1, 2024, NVO will become the Truss and Components Division of Truckee-Tahoe Lumber Co. and Design Center. Through this acquisition, TTL can now offer the full framing package in a single transaction.

As you know, NVO once held a contractor’s license but ceased all framing services in 2023 to concentrate exclusively on manufacturing. Rest assured that TTL does not offer any installed sales and does not intend to do so in the future.
