Partial eclipse, annular eclipse both total(ity) cool 😎🔭

While Reno wasn’t in the path of totality, this time we were still able to enjoy both eclipses together with eclipse shades, 3D printed pinhole cameras, and fun NASA ASTRO CAMP® activities!

🌕Can you say Moon-th? Like the moon goes around the Earth we’re celebrating 27 days of NASA ASTROCAMPS hosted at the Washoe County Libraries today🌝
Thank you to our wonderful NASA Astrocampers for the beautiful moments, the tireless librarians of the Northwest and South Valleys libraries for their assistance, and the Community Foundation of Nevada for their generous grants that allowed us to offer our camps for free.
We'll see you all again in January 2024🚀🧑🏻‍🚀

Our Rookie team won the Finalist Alliance Captain Award, First Place Connect Award and an invitation to STATE CHAMPIONSHIP to compete for a chance to move on to World’s championship.
