Help us support one of the newest additions to Reno’s food family network - Nourish & Flourish Kitchen and Market !

N&F is a nonprofit commissary kitchen helping small culinary businesses start, scale, and thrive in the Reno Tahoe food scene.

We all know it takes a village, and your (our!) village is in need ~

Donations of any & all kinds are encouraged and appreciated!

Beyond monetary support, N&F is also looking for assistance patching cosmetic holes, and help sourcing Chef Lockers & Metro Drying Racks.

With rising rents across Reno-Tahoe, food entrepreneurs are harnessing the power of community — and ingenuity — to start new businesses or take their existing ones to the next level. Commissary kitchens are cropping up, creating affordable shared spaces and collaboration opportunities. We interviewed business owners at two spaces, Kitchen Collab in Truckee and Nourish & Flourish Kitchen and Market in Reno, as well as a cottage food company owner who operates her business, Tahoe Bread Co, out of her home in Kings Beach.

As we won’t be on the “path of totality” our eclipse will be partial in northern Nevada with a maximum 40 percent of the sun being covered by the moon, with peak eclipse locally around 11:19 a.m. on Monday.

Make sure to use protective sunglasses if you look at it and don’t hesitate to DM us any photos if you get good ones for us to reshare to community.
