Congrats to Sanjay, Jude, and Chelsea for successfully completing their summer internships at Connected Future Labs!

🔬 Sanjay upgraded the testing device for our biometric wearable, EmotiBit, as our Hardware Engineering Intern.

📊 Jude developed health-related data pipelines for Alzheimer’s research as our Software Engineering Intern.

📡 Chelsea interviewed key academics and communicated novel applications of EmotiBit as our Research Communications Intern.

We’re back from the Capital, where our founder, Sean Montgomery, presented “CogniTrend: Wearable+AI Cognitive Wellness Monitoring” at the a2 National Symposium.

CogniTrend leverages our team’s years of experience using wearables to track behavior and physiology and incredible partnerships (UC Davis Alzheimer’s Disease Center and Johns Hopkins University Artificial Intelligence Collaboratory for Aging Research) to bend the curve on Alzheimer's.

This year’s conference focused on Empowering Innovation in AI/Tech and Aging with the goal to redefine what’s possible from breakthroughs in AI, aging, and dementia care. We were thrilled to contribute to the growing dialogue surrounding biometric sensing and its role in empowering healthy longevity and continued independence.

A huge thank you to the organizers for putting this together. As well as the other innovators, researchers, and funders shaping the future of health longevity through cutting edge technology.

Last week, our team had the privilege of inviting Paul Dietz, former Disney Imagineer and Microsoft Senior Researcher, to our lab after his talk on Crowd HCI at the University of Nevada, Reno. Paul’s visit sparked our team’s imagination, and we are excited to explore new ideas inspired by his thinking.
