We’re so proud of our 12 team members for completing the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey and earning 6th place in the Corporate Mixed Division. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

From Reno through Truckee, around Lake Tahoe, and back again, our runners took on steep climbs, late-night miles, and little sleep, all while keeping each other going.

We're incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and team spirit they brought to every mile. The Reno-Tahoe Odyssey is as much about the people beside you as it is the road ahead, and our runners embodied that spirit from start to finish.

Congratulations to our team members on an amazing accomplishment. We can't wait to do it all again next year! 🎉

Intern Bootcamp Week is officially in the books! 🚀

We welcomed our summer interns to Reno from Boise, Roseville, El Dorado Hills, and Carson City for a week of learning, connection, and fun.

They got a behind-the-scenes look at how we work, met the people they'll be collaborating with this summer, and experienced what makes Lumos special.

And of course, there was no shortage of team bonding. Between tacos, an ice cream truck, and a friendly competition to build the strongest paper-link chain, there were plenty of opportunities to build relationships before diving into summer projects.

We're excited to watch this talented group grow, learn, and make an impact over the coming months. Welcome to the team, we can't wait to see what you'll accomplish. 👏

This week, we welcomed 10 interns across our offices in Reno, Carson City, El Dorado Hills, Roseville, and Boise.

What makes this year's class stand out?
⭐ They were recruited through our partnerships with universities including University of Nevada, Reno, Boise State University, Sacramento State, and University of Idaho.
⭐They'll be gaining hands-on experience in Corporate Services, Construction, Engineering, and Surveying.
⭐ They represent the next generation of industry talent.
⭐ Two of our interns enjoyed their experience so much that they're returning for another summer with us.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

That spirit of remembrance is built into the very foundation of the Heroes Memorial Building in Carson City, originally designed as a memorial to Nevada soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Nearly a century later, the building continues to stand as a place of reflection, service, and community.

Lumos was honored to support the renovation and seismic retrofit efforts for the Heroes Memorial and Veterans Memorial Hall buildings as part of the TSK Architects team. Our work helped evaluate and strengthen these historic spaces while respecting the architectural character and meaning they carry.

On Memorial Day, spaces like these take on even greater meaning. They give communities a place to gather, reflect, and honor the lives and legacies of those who served with courage.

Proudly celebrating Mara’s recognition as a Nevada Women's Fund Woman of Achievement!

Mara’s impact is felt across Lumos and throughout the communities we serve. Her technical excellence has helped advance critical wastewater infrastructure, including the design of more than 25 lift stations that keep communities moving. Her leadership, humility, and commitment to mentoring others make her not only an exceptional engineer, but an inspiring teammate and role model.

From being named Employee of the Year and ASCE Young Engineer of the Year to becoming a partner in the firm, Mara continues to lead with purpose and empower those around her to succeed.

We are incredibly proud to honor Mara and celebrate this well-deserved achievement. Congratulations, Mara!
