Founded in 2009, LumaDent was established with one goal – affordable lighting solutions for dental professionals. However, this goal has evolved over the past few years. At LumaDent, our vision is to design high quality loupes and lights at an affordable price. All while providing the best customer service the industry has to offer. Today, we are proud to announce that we provide one of the best lights in the market to illuminate the oral cavity. With our custom made optical lenses, we are able to shrink the LED headlamp to become one of the smallest headlamps available. Our headlamps are unique for their size, brightness, and by its replaceable wires. We recently have developed loupes that are thru-the-lens and flip-ups. Each of our loupes are designed for dentistry. All of our loupes are customizable, light weight, and ergonomically designed to help eliminate back and neck pain. Our crystal clear oculars provide great magnification which ranges from 2.5x to 5.0x. Our loupes will improve diagnostics and quality of care with the clarity of enhanced vision. As we continue to expand, we will remain dedicated to our vision. We will constantly innovate our products to exceed expectations. We will optimize every interaction with our customers to provide the highest standard for customer service.

The #1 worry about ergonomic loupes? "It's going to take me too long to get used to them."
If you're still in school, this is actually the best time to make the switch. You have 3-hour appointments for a reason, use that time to train your eyes, brain, and muscles to adapt to a healthier posture.
Your career longevity starts on day one!

Every clinician has a specific zone where their ergonomic habits tend to fall apart. For many, it's the upper left lingual. Because it's hard to reach, our natural instinct is to lean forward and crane our necks to catch the right angle.
The solution isn't to strain your muscles, it's to manipulate the workspace.
The Formula: Patient turned away + Chin tilted up.
By adjusting the patient's positioning, you pull a notoriously blind spot right into your neutral field of view. This simple adjustment allows your ergonomic loupes to do exactly what they were designed to do: keep your spine straight and your career long.
Remember: You use your back every single day. Don't be afraid to guide your patient's position to support your longevity! 🦷
