I recently filmed a peaceful sunset over Birch Bay, Washington, using my DJI Air 3S. The video follows the shoreline during golden hour, with warm light reflecting across the bay as paddle boarders quietly make their way across the water.

The paddle boarders in the video are actually my wife and boys enjoying an evening on the bay. Be sure to watch until the end. There is a mysterious shadow moving through the water that none of us noticed while we were out there.

Birch Bay, located in Whatcom County, is one of those scenic Pacific Northwest spots that is easy to appreciate, with calm water, expansive tidal flats, long shoreline views, and incredible sunsets.

I took the DJI Air S3 out over Eagle Canyon and the Damonte Ranch Plateau (Peak 6405) in south Reno and stitched together this 4K aerial tour. This loop links Eagle Canyon with the Louse and Camelback bumps above Damonte Ranch, with big views of Mt. Rose, the Truckee Meadows, and the Virginia Range.

This area is sometimes called Damonte Canyon in hiking guides, and it’s a rugged, lightly traveled route that’s generally best from December through May. If you’ve ever looked up at those rocky hills behind Damonte Ranch High School and wondered what it looks like from above, this video is for you.

I’ve been lucky to fly my drone all over the U.S., but Kapalua Beach in Maui is definitely one of my favorites! 😎🌴🏖️

We recently snuck out to Kapalua Beach and had to get the drone up for some breathtaking shots 🌅.
