Not work related but felt it was worth sharing. After a year and a half of the pandemic and 65-70 hour work weeks it was time to pack up the family, unplug and spend some time in nature. A week camping at Rife Lake with several hikes on Mt St Helens really helps refresh the soul!

🎶🎵"I GOT 99 PROBLEMS AND THIS BARN AIN'T ONE!"🎵🎶
Built in 1922, 99 years ago, this barn was heavily used for agricultural purposes in the Puyallup Valley. The new owners wanted to salvage the historic structure and maintain its original architecture as best possible and with a limited budget. It was leaning nearly 16 inches and likely one good snow load or wind storm away from collapsing. Several contractors ran....said no way. Me.....I couldn't wait to get my hands on it!
With some creative techniques and extreme caution we were able to rack the entire structure to within about 1 inch of being perfect!
The homeowner was all smiles and we were honored to to be a part of salvaging another historic building!

Dochnahl Construction Inc. is hereby pub­lishing this warning to the public rega­rding fraud that a scam artist committed on 9-11-2017 naming our company and a local law firm, Raini­er Legal.

Supposedly a large out of state financial company retained a local Washington law firm to collect a loan we supposedly owed a large financi­al company (Venta Fi­anncial Group, Inc./­Jason Madiedo) in Las Vegas. This scam artist used our part­ial stationery, prep­ared a fraudulent ca­shier’s check from our company, and even prepared a fictitio­us Loan Agreement si­gned by a prior owner of our company.

The law firm’s bank timely discovered th­at the cashier’s che­ck was forged or this law firm would ha­ve been out $195,000­.00. Thankfully, th­ese people were not successful with this scam. Dochnahl nev­er had any dealings nor did they ever en­ter into such agreem­ent . Our company’s desire is to warn others so they do not fall for this scam and very wrong doing.
