**Meet the team behind the designs!**
Today, we traded our everyday work attire for a little Halloween fun as Gru and his Minions!

Behind the costumes is a team full of incredible talent, experience, and expertise. From architectural design and engineering to custom log homes, modern homes, commercial projects, and additions, each member of our team brings something unique to the table.

It’s the combination of our individual strengths, creativity, and collaboration that makes The South Fork Design Group one amazing team to work with!

We may have a little fun along the way, but when it comes to bringing your vision to life, we’re serious about good design and working together to make it happen.

Happy Halloween from our team to yours!

🎃👻 WHAT REALLY SCARES US AT SOUTH FORK DESIGN GROUP? 👻🎃
🏚️ BUILDING A HOUSE THAT HASN'T BEEN FULLY DESIGNED OR ENGINEERED. 😱

🎃👻 WHAT REALLY SCARES US AT SOUTH FORK DESIGN GROUP? 👻🎃
Ghosts? Nope.
Haunted houses? Not really.
Spiders? Okay... maybe a little. 🕷️
Creaky Houses!!! Keeps us up at night!
But you know what REALLY gives us goosebumps?
🏚️ BUILDING A HOUSE THAT HASN'T BEEN FULLY DESIGNED OR ENGINEERED. 😱
A floor plan that doesn't quite work.
A roof that wasn't properly coordinated.
Structural details that weren't figured out.
A site plan that doesn't account for the actual property.
A floor plan that looked great on paper... until you tried to put furniture in it.
And that terrifying moment when someone says...
“We'll figure that out in the field.” or "We don't need engineering." 👀
🎃 Now THAT'S spooky.
At South Fork Design Group, we believe the best time to solve a problem is before it becomes a construction problem. We like our houses fully designed, thoughtfully planned, and properly engineered.
Because the only surprises we want in your new home are the good ones.
Happy Halloween from the South Fork team! 🧡👻
No haunted houses were harmed in the making of this post.

🏡 ONE WEB PLAN. THREE DIFFERENT HOMES.
One of our favorite things about offering web plans is that they don't have to be the end of the design process. Sometimes a plan is the perfect starting point and a few changes can make it fit a homeowner's needs even better.
These two homes started with our Web Plan 24-04-029, but each client wanted something a little different.
✨ One came in at 875 sq. ft.
✨ The other was customized to 800 sq. ft.
✨ The third was cut down to 432 sq. ft.
Two of them have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen / living area, and a master suite, The third one was cut down to once bedroom, one bath. Each was modified to better fit the individual homeowner.
That's the beauty of starting with a proven plan: you can get the layout you love and then make it your own.
Thinking about one of our web plans but wish you could change a few things? That's exactly what we do. 🏠

What a fun day in Teton Valley! 🏔️

We had the opportunity to visit several of our homes currently in progress, along with a few that are now finished. There’s something so exciting about seeing the plans we’ve worked on in the office become real homes, room by room.

From the early stages of construction to the finished details, it’s always rewarding to see these projects come to life. We’re so grateful to our clients, builders, and everyone who helps make these homes possible.

Here’s a little look at some of the beautiful projects we got to see on our Teton Valley trip! 🏡✨

Big shop. Smart living. Built for the Idaho lifestyle. 🏔️

Plan 24-04-030 is for the person who wants plenty of room for the toys, tools, projects, and weekend adventures—without building more house than they need.

With 897 sq. ft. of living space paired with a massive 1,200 sq. ft. shop/garage, this modern shop-house design makes every square foot count. The main level brings together an open kitchen and living area, one bedroom, bath, mud/laundry space, and direct access to the shop. Upstairs adds even more flexibility with storage for seasonal gear and everything you’d rather keep organized and out of the way.

And that shop? Two oversized garage doors, tall open space, additional storage above, and covered exterior areas make it ready for everything from trucks and side-by-sides to a serious workshop.
