As an independent tradesman, John had always dreamed of operating his own business. He was skilled in his craft and enjoyed the freedom of being his own boss. However, he soon realized that running a business was not as easy as he thought.
One of the biggest challenges John faced was managing his finances. Between unexpected family health expenses and the constant need for vehicle maintenance, it seemed like there was never enough money to go around. On top of that, the time he spent on bookkeeping and office management took away from the time he could be spending on actual work.
Another issue John struggled with was the constant threat of stolen or broken tools. As a tradesman, his tools were his livelihood and it was frustrating and expensive to constantly have to replace them.
But perhaps the most frustrating thing for John was dealing with difficult customers and low price competition from unethical contractors. It was disheartening to see the value of his hard work and expertise devalued by those who were willing to cut corners and offer rock bottom prices.
Despite his hard work and determination, John continued to struggle with the difficulties of running a business as an independent tradesman. That is, until he discovered The Construction Connection.
Founded in 1986, The Construction Connection is a division of XASIX, a company that was founded in 1995 with the goal of helping independent tradesmen and artisans succeed. The Construction Connection offers a wide range of services to its members, including training and certification, legal assistance, financial support, logistics management, and extensive human resources known within the organization as "Life Support," which consists of one-on-one support for each member.
In addition to these services, The Construction Connection also provides its members with tools and material support, as well as assistance with sales and marketing. With all of these resources at his disposal, John was finally able to focus on what he loved and did best - his craft - without having to worry about the many difficulties he faced as an independent tradesman.
The goal of The Construction Connection is to give independent tradesmen and artisans the necessary support and resources to specialize and flourish in their chosen fields. By nurturing and supporting its members, The Construction Connection helps tradesmen and artisans like John achieve success and find satisfaction in their work.
Through The Construction Connection, John was able to overcome the difficulties that came with being an independent tradesman and is doing well.
