For the past 6 decades, you could not know Amber Steel Co. without knowing Wayne Lewis.

At the age of 10, Wayne began working at Amber Steel (then owned by his mom and uncle), chopping weeds and painting, driving trucks and working his way up through every aspect of the company until he became President and CEO of Amber Steel. He embodied hard work, loyalty, commitment and integrity in every aspect of his leadership. He and his wife, Janet have led the company with confidence and excellence.

Even after his son Kriss became president of Amber Steel in 2016, Wayne remained a trusted advisor and leader in the company.

A few months ago, Wayne was diagnosed with brain cancer. He quickly underwent surgery to remove the cancerous tumor and then just a few short weeks later, on Friday, March 29th, he passed away suddenly.

He has left behind a legacy of commitment and excellence.
He loved his family.
He loved his church.
He loved Amber Steel.

Though his family, friends and employees mourn his loss, we also know for sure that he is cancer-free and pain-free in the presence of Jesus.
We appreciate all of your prayers and support during this time.

His celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 10AM at Sunrise Church in Rialto, CA.
