We are a Grading Contractor seeking a Construction Project Engineer with at least two years of experience in construction and a commitment to excellence to join our team. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and seeking a highly motivated individual.
A sampling of duties includes:
• Assists the Project Manager in distributing and tracking construction plans
• Creating bid packages for subcontractors
• Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Assist with logs and reports.
• Process change orders and subcontract agreements in conjunction with Project Coordinators.
• Assist Superintendent/Owner with RFI’s.
• Attend pre-bid, pre-construction, progress and other meetings and represent the company in a professional and knowledge manner
Our Project Engineers must:
• Have a minimum of 2 years of construction experience
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative, professionalism, integrity, be highly motivated and take direction well.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain and acceptable driving record
• Experience in AGTEK and TOPCON desired but not required
Physical demands of the position to include:
• Sitting / standing / walking / driving for extended periods of time, climbing stairs/ lifting / carrying up to 40 lbs., talking, and hearing.
