Alliance is working on a new 15,000-square-foot office for C1S Group. It is designed to support collaboration, productivity, and connection. The space features conference rooms, private offices, open work areas, a work café, and a variety of support spaces.

Why Alliance?
The crazy group of misfits, awesome work-life balance, and positive environment it strives to provide.

What’s your power move when creativity hits a wall?
I always try to make time to sketch/model ideas. If I’m really in a funk, I look at Pinterest or Instagram for inspiration, especially when it comes to color and layout.

What’s the top 3 songs on your favorite playlist?

My taste is all over the place, so I’ll give you 3 plus 1!

What’s your role at Alliance, and how would you describe your day-to-day?
Project Coordinator III. I coordinate sets between AAI and consultants while keeping everyone on schedule, review and redline, work with the Owner Reps and GCs, weekly site visits, and ultimately, making the ~*~magic~*~ happen.

If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sushi.

People would be surprised if they knew (interesting fact about yourself):
I turn into the hulk.

You must sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
Anything Nickleback or Creed.

Are you binging any shows, which one?
Gilmore Girls. Again.

Who is your favorite architect/designer?
Peter Zumthor.

What is the best advice you have received?
“Don’t ever let anyone make you feel less than.” – Mom

What is the best part of your day?
Caffeine. Also, laughing. Put those 2 together, and it’s one insane day.

Klein Tools is a two-story 290,000 square foot tilt-wall addition to the existing Klein Tools facility, located in Mansfield, Texas. The expansion includes a warehouse with an area for production, sorting and packaging. The ground floor consists of approximately 39,000 square foot of open office area, executive offices, and a boardroom including a coffee bar. The second floor is comprised of 27, 000 square foot including a lounge area for employees, open office, and executive suite with a small kitchen. Lockers and restrooms for employees are throughout the facility. A new building façade and lobby was added and a minor reconfiguration of the existing main entry was redesigned as an employee only entry. Custom wall coverings showcase a historical timeline of the company, featuring a Texas theme.

Why Alliance?
I liked the project-based studio structure and the office culture they created with events.

What project would you put on your personal highlight reel — and why?
I would say the Silveron Office Building Project because it is where I learned all the office standards and tricks/tools of the softwares.

What’s your power move when creativity hits a wall?
I like to ask questions, get a coffee, and maybe a piece of candy from Anna’s desk.

What’s the top 3 songs on your favorite playlist?
My top 3 songs from my Rock playlist are Can’t Stop by the Red-Hot Chili Peppers, Lithium by Nirvana, and You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC.

What’s your role at Alliance, and how would you describe your day-to-day?
I am an Architectural Intern and depending on the project I could be picking up redlines, coordinating between teams, and completing tasks within a model or drawing set.

Pizza
