Recovering from a flood is never just about repairing what broke. It is about a community finding its footing again. Jones & DeMille Engineering has been on the ground with communities in our region affected by recent flooding, working alongside FEMA, the Utah Division of Emergency Management, and local officials.
Our team inspected a dam failure and road damage caused by failed bank stabilization structures, supported emergency repairs to a damaged spring transmission line, and assisted with emergency repair and stabilization at a hydroelectric plant experiencing severe undercutting. Every assessment and every repair has been aimed at the same goal: helping rebuild critical infrastructure so people can get back to normal life as safely and quickly as possible.
None of this happens without strong partnerships, both with the agencies we work alongside and with the communities themselves, who have shown remarkable resilience through a difficult time. We are grateful for the chance to help, and we remain committed to seeing this recovery through.
