OK, I agree that the utility supply is/WAS a good decision, and this will no longer be TRUE starting June 1st. Staying on the UTILITY standard service offer, known as the SSO, will for the average customer add well over $700 to your annual cost. Then, consider that this increase of over 100% is going to start during the period of the year when you use the most, summer air conditioning season. Therefore, the impact will be costly right out of the gate. The utilities have published articles and press releases urging their loyal customers to "choose a supplier" to avoid this historically unprecedented increase in supply costs. Staying with the utility supply rate is no longer a smart decision. The utility has issued a statement advising consumers to pick a supplier!
