Older Richmond homes carry a kind of character that can't be recreated: arched doorways, curved banisters, molding with real proportion. The worst thing a renovation can do is erase it.
These homeowners loved their home's history. They just needed it to work for the life they live now. So we helped update it room by room while protecting what made it special: a kitchen built around a pale blue range with marble counters and brass-bracketed open shelving, a powder room that isn't afraid of bold wallpaper, and a bath with a freestanding tub and classic basketweave floor.
The arches stayed. The staircase stayed. The character stayed. What changed is how well the home supports everyday life in this new season.
If you love your older home but need it to live differently, that's a conversation we'd be glad to have.
