Small improvements. Measurable impact.

At Primex European Division, facility improvements are helping reduce energy use and environmental impact. In 2025, the facility achieved a 4.5% reduction in its carbon footprint compared to 2024 while continuing to operate on 100% renewable electricity.

Additional improvements included converting more line drive motors to AC motors to reduce energy consumption and implementing a new digital printer automation system for improved energy efficiency.

Our technical team at Primex Color, Compounding & Additives continues pushing the boundaries of sustainable TPE development.

One recent milestone: a soft 50A Faraprene® TPE containing:
45% recycled content
35% renewable content
80% total sustainable content

Since launching Operation Clean Sweep in 2022, all Primex locations have embraced a shared goal: preventing plastic scrap, pellets, and flakes from leaving facility containment and entering the environment.

In 2025, our teams continued developing custom containment tools, devices, and best practices to prevent spills and accidental releases.
