Diane joined the KBS family in 2015. As a member of our accounting team, she played an essential role in keeping our projects and operations running smoothly. From managing invoices and payments to maintaining accurate job cost coding, and helping ensure timely reporting, her work supported every corner of our business. Most importantly, she brought kindness, experience and a steady presence to our accounting team for nearly 11 years.

Project Update! 🚧

Construction at The Porter, a new apartment community adding 306 homes near Richmond’s growing Diamond District, home of , is progressing quickly. Check out today's views from the community on slides 2, 3 and 4.

In addition to new residential offerings, the community will feature a multi-level parking garage and exclusive resident amenities designed to support modern living and premium convenience within this evolving area of Richmond, VA.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Mid-Atlantic Apartment Communities, Inc and to help deliver a community that supports the transformational long-term vision for the Hermitage Road corridor leading into the Diamond District.

Big changes are coming to Richmond’s Diamond District. 🚧

Starting in June 2026, KBS will break ground on Dōma — a 276-unit multifamily community set to rise alongside CarMax Park as part of the district’s first phase of development. The six-story project will bring new housing, retail space, rooftop amenities, and a shared parking structure to one of the city’s fastest-growing corridors.

The larger Diamond District vision continues to take shape with future office, hotel, retail, green space, and workforce housing planned around the new ballpark district. Exciting momentum for the future of Richmond. ⚾🏙️

We are grateful to our partners at for inviting us to the groundbreaking for its newest development project, the Veritas School Field House.

This project represents the next development phase in the school's Master Campus Plan to create a unified campus and meet the long-term needs of the Veritas School community. As the general contractor for this project, KBS is proud to participate in the early stages of this process and thankful for the opportunity to drive a lasting impact in our local community.

This week, we were excited to welcome our 2026 summer interns to KBS Inc.!

Just because the school year is over doesn't mean the education stops. Representing a variety of schools and backgrounds, these talented students will spend the summer learning alongside our project and site teams across multiple jobsites. We’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of construction professionals and help provide hands-on experience that supports their growth in the industry.

We look forward to a great summer of learning, collaboration, and building together. Welcome to the team!

Today's project spotlight is also a flashback to a project we delivered over two decades ago!

The project was originally built in 2005 as Moore Hummer at 4190 Dominion Boulevard, and most recently operated as Complete Automotive of Richmond. Our project team is in the process of converting this building into Moore Cadillac's new location. The conversion includes a complete overhaul of the dealership's parts and service departments, showroom, and a new facade to meet Cadillac's dealership requirements.
