Just a reminder for Madison County because there are always a few that wonder why the siren went off.

Madison County’s outdoor warning sirens and RAVE alerts will be tested this Saturday, September 5 at 12:00 PM.

This is a routine test to ensure the system is functioning properly. The sound does not indicate an emergency.

If your dog has a favorite spot to p*e and it happens to be your outdoor unit, you might want to encourage a new favorite spot. 😂

Dog urine can corrode the aluminum fins and coils on your condenser over time and cause some pretty expensive damage.

We love the dogs. We just need them to p*e somewhere else. 😂

Alright, if you're a 420-friendly homeowner, this one’s for you.

If you smoke w**d inside, your HVAC system is moving that same air through your house. Smoke contains tiny particles that can end up in your filter, and the smell and residue can settle into things around your home.

We’re not here to tell grown adults what to do in their own house. Just know if you regularly smoke inside, you should really stay on top of your filter changes and HVAC maintenance.

Your HVAC system doesn’t judge your extracurricular activities. It just has to deal with the air.

Good Wednesday morning! With temperatures as hot as they are, a lot of HVAC techs are running calls from early morning until after dark trying to get to everyone they can.

Please be patient with them. We all value our customers, and nobody wants to leave someone sitting in a hot house. It’s just a very busy time for everyone in this industry.

Ernie made it home long enough to grab a bite to eat and headed right back out for a couple more calls. He might make it back home before 9 tonight.

The things people don’t see behind a small business. Some days are long, but when someone needs us, we do our best to be there.

A $200 call doesn't make someone any less important to us than a $1,000 job.

Sometimes somebody just wants to keep the system they already have running another year. Sometimes they have 47 questions before they're comfortable making a decision. Sometimes we don't hear from them again for three years and then they send their sister our way.

That's business to us too. Actually, that's the kind of business we wanted when we started this thing.

Anyone else tired of these marketing sales pitch messages and phone calls? Nobody has time for or a need for this type of shenanigans.

We may grow slower doing things the right way, but we're okay with that. We'd rather have 700-something real people here than 10,000 people who aren't.

Some things just aren't worth compromising and reviews are definitely one of them.

Looks like we’ve got a hot week ahead of us.

Your AC is probably going to run a lot more than normal, but that doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. It’s hot outside, the sun is beating down on the house, and your system is working against all of it.

What I’d pay attention to is whether something has changed. If it normally keeps your house comfortable and suddenly it can’t, if the air doesn’t feel as cold, you hear something that doesn’t sound right, or the temperature keeps climbing, don’t ignore it. As we've posted before, turning the thermostat down to 60 isn’t going to cool the house any faster. I promise.
