Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to pause and remember the men and women who laid down their lives so we could live in freedom 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

Because of their sacrifice, we are able to gather with our families, worship freely, and enjoy the liberties we often take for granted.

There are no words that could ever fully repay the price they paid for our country.

This weekend, may we remember the reason for this holiday and honor those who gave everything for the United States of America.

Trade schools and skilled trades deserve more respect than they get today.

This is not about saying college is not important — because it absolutely is. We have a desperate need for doctors, engineers, teachers, nurses, scientists, and so many other professions that require higher education.

But trade schools are just as important for the future of our country. We also need welders, electricians, machinists, HVAC technicians, mechanics, fabricators, plumbers, operators, and countless other skilled workers who keep the world running every single day.

Not every successful path has to start in a university classroom. Some start in a trade school, apprenticeship, shop, or hands-on learning environment — and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
