Happy Fourth of July! This holiday is especially noteworthy this year as we mark the 250th birthday of the United States. Our nation’s founders could never have imagined the growth, infrastructure transformations, and evolving natural landscapes our country would see over two-and-a-half centuries. Members of the F&R team put their concrete knowledge to great use earlier this month by participating in the Chesapeake Bay Foundation Reef Ball Building event. Sam Proctor, Jordan Foley, Nathaniel Villafana, and Joshua McCoy joined volunteers from AIA Coastal Virginia to produce 35 reef balls during the event. We always love the opportunity to support CBF efforts when we can.
