Please Call to Save the Residential ITC.

The U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee released a budget reconciliation bill that would eliminate the residential ITC at the end of this year.

Call your Member of Congress and urge them to defend the residential ITC by having it mirror the phase out of the commercial ITC. Homeowners who choose to install solar and storage should receive the same tax treatment as commercial enterprises that do so.

Today I attended training with Tamie at NAZ Solar . It was fantastic! Sol-ark and Pytes gave us a great rundown on their products and then hands-on training. Had a lot of fun chatting with other solar installers, too.

We work, work, work to pay for certain things in life. Mostly it's housing, food, and energy. And all of them continue to increase! Take a look at your electric bill and see that rates have increased about 30% in the last 30 months, and then ask the same question. What the _____?

SCE rates have increased 28.85% over the last 30 months. TOUD5-8 averaged WINTER rate for NOVEMBER 2020 was $0.26348/kWH. As of MAY 2023, the averaged rate is $0.34144. And SUMMER rates are even higher.

Rates are only going to increase. The Solar Billing Plan, aka NEM3, is still a viable solution to cutting your budget for utilities.
