Well I didn't do the best job of documenting this restoration over the past 16 months, but it was almost a total rebuild. The walls were reframed with new board and batten pine siding, new windows, the foundation was repaired, a new roof install, new paint, then plywood was installed on the spray foamed interior walls. The ceiling was fired out and the old steel roof was repurposedasthe new ceiling. All in all it turned out great.

I had quite the Summer Project. It was probably one of my largest restorations. It was a family farm located just outside of Elkhart Lake since the 1840s. We did a little bit of everything, new sills, a top plate, flooring, siding, jacking up, straightening, installed posts windows, battens, so many doors, and even installed some new hanging rods. I'm pretty proud of how it all turned out.

The roof goes on this week, but just a bit of where we started and end on the "shed" part of the Elkhart Lake Project.
