1,000 improvements — and counting.
Last month, the Ripley Machine team officially crossed 1,000 improvements for 2026, marking the third straight year we have reached this milestone.
Our improvement program is built around a simple idea: get better every day.
Loosely based on Paul Akers’ 2 Second Lean concept, improvements can be anything from a small ergonomic change or eliminating wasted motion to a process change, new tooling, or even a major capital investment.
The size of the improvement isn’t what matters. What matters is that our team is constantly looking for ways to make Ripley Machine safer, more efficient, more organized, and better for our customers.
Most importantly, every member of our team has actively participated in the program this year.
These 1,000+ improvements represent the dedication of our entire team to continuous improvement.
Three straight years. More than 3,000 improvements. And we’re still getting better every day.

While the temperatures outside have been soaring this week, it’s been business as usual inside Ripley Machine.

Our climate-controlled facility stays at a consistent temperature year-round, providing a more comfortable work environment for our team while helping ensure the accuracy and consistency required for the high-precision components we manufacture.

It’s another investment in our people and our quality.

Ripley Machine is hiring!

We are looking for someone to join our team in an entry-level position with real opportunity for growth. This role will start with general shop responsibilities including forklift operation, basic machine maintenance, facility upkeep, and supporting production. Over time, the right person will be trained on CNC equipment and given the chance to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Our hope for this position is that it is an opportunity to turn into a life-long career!
