Robokong 2493

Robokong 2493 We are a FIRST Robotics Competing team. We are kids who develop game strategy, design, engineer, bui We are FRC team 2493 Robokong.

Given only 6 weeks and no knowledge of the tasks until the first day we are allowed to build, we design and build large robots to compete in national competitions at the beginning of every year. We have been through a lot of sorrow and a lot of excitement over the past years, since 2007, competing with robots that are designed, build and maintained by high school students in the Riverside communit

y. We raise money for the competition itself and any tools, parts and materials that are required for the years competition.

On Tuesday, the FIRST community lost one of its own. We are heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Littleton, Colorado. Kendrick was a member of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4418, STEM IMPULSE, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family and friends, and to all affected by the shooting. FIRST stands with Team 4418 and the entire Littleton community during this incredibly difficult time.
