BIG thank you to Eric McDonald and Kyle Carper for jumping in and helping with this project. Their willingness to step up and be part of something bigger is what the cooperative spirit is all about. It's a great example of one of the core principles of the cooperative model, Commitment to Community--showing up, lending a hand, and taking pride in the places we serve.

Thanks for representing High Plains Power so well, Eric and Kyle! And thank you to the Arapaho Warriors Legion Post 96 for the opportunity to serve!

(Arapahoe, WY) – Members of the Arapaho Warriors Legion Post 96, led by Post Commander Felicia Antelope, recently shared with County 10 that, thanks to High Plains Power, they were able to raise and install a new flagpole at the Northern Arapaho Powwow grounds. Post 96 representatives said that Hi...

Memorial Day
While you’re enjoying a burger with your friends and loved ones today, remember the true reason behind your three-day weekend and the costs associated with it.
Memorial Day, initially known as Decoration Day was first nationally observed on May 30, 1868, when General John A. Logan called for a day of remembrance for those who died in the Civil War. Since then, Memorial Day has evolved to honor all U.S. military personnel who have died in service.
Today, we invite you to pause and reflect. Go decorate and honor a veteran’s gravesite, attend a ceremony or parade, fly the American flag correctly at half mast, consider donating to a veteran organization, volunteer to help families of fallen soldiers, educate children about the significance of the day, and finally, observe the National Moment of Remembrance by pausing at 3:00pm local time for one minute of silence to honor those who died in service of our country.
"Americans may not only pay tribute to our honored dead, but also unite in prayer for success in our search for just and lasting peace."-President John F Kennedy Memorial Day 1962.

Did you know Farmers Markets operate like a Co‑Op?
Just like an electric cooperative, farmers' markets are member‑owned & locally governed, open access (voluntary membership), reinvest back into the community (not paying outside shareholders), and community focused.
This same cooperative model is how High Plains Power works for our members every day. Take a look at the graphic to see how the connection adds up!
💚 Member‑owned. Local. Community‑focused.
