The FabMan Showcasing the services and projects of the Fabman. The FabMan is a small operation located on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Virginia. Flying is, well, FLYING!

The town is called Cheriton. We call it living in Mayberry. Never a traffic jam, but best to not be in a hurry. Wherever you go, be prepared to have conversations at every stop. With widely varying interests, and a burning desire to learn how everything is made, the FabMan, aka Tom or Mac, has spent most of his life learning to create things. Although artwork and all things beautiful are of intere

st, a particular passion is for high-performance machinery. Designing, building, and racing cars covers so many different categories. One of our mantras here is, "We love a challenge!" The challenge to build a faster racecar calls on engineering skills that include; math for geometry, trigonometry, and calculations. science for physics, metallurgy, and stress analysis. An understanding of aerodynamics is needed for bodywork, and although Form Follows Function usually means that if it works well, it will look good too, having an artistic eye and hands adds to the sculpting of a beautiful machine. On top of that, if you're an adrenaline junkie with a need for speed, getting in your creation and going out on a racetrack to vie for the top spot on the podium is icing on the cake.
