MOLD....Now that I have your attention....
This customer had mold in all the flex ducts in their attic system (12 lines). Upon inspection, the contractor building the house did not install R-8, instead they installed R-4. (Look at the photo of the comparison of the two.)
We removed and replaced with the proper product and recommended a UV light to prevent this from happening again.
We find this in crawl spaces as well. R-8 value is code for a "unconditioned" space. Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I've received a few calls lately asking if we are still in business. Absolutely!

What a proud business owner I am. I went to a job site today to drop off supplies and just check the progress of the job. When I pull up, I see my lead Tech over by the van cutting metal with the "new guy".
As I walk up to them, I realize that he is giving a class to the new guy...taking advantage of a moment on the job. He immediately started briefing me on how well the job was going.
My lead tech never signed on to be a trainer, but he is/has adapted in a big way! We have assembled a team here at Fresh Air Solutions that SETS THE STANDARDS in the Duct cleaning industry.

I debated about posting this, but if you have a rodent invasion it can get out of control QUICK!
Not only did this job require cleaning and sanitizing...we also had to replace a considerable amount of damaged and soiled ducting.

With all this HOT, HUMID weather, make sure your air conditioning system is draining well! Also change out that air filter so your system can breathe freely. It is common for some systems to "sweat" during these conditions... But too much sweating can cause other, potentially costly problems.
