With freezing temperatures on the way for our area, be sure to protect your home from potential issues. The picture on the left is of an exterior hose bib cover and has a note that reads, "Remove Hose or Faucet - May Freeze and Burst". Sometimes a basic water mitigation job turns into much more... While handling a recent loss for a customer, we discovered a layer of flooring in several rooms that had older tiles that contained asbestos. Was located under 3 layers of flooring. After following the prescribed methods for abatement that included: testing, risk assessment, planning, and cleanup and disposal we are now able to proceed with final repairs.

Great work to the team for helping to keep this project on track and to get the homeowners one step closer to being able to come home.

Strong winds and heavy rains can create havoc by bringing down trees onto homes and other personal property. Recently, we worked with a homeowner who had a tree hit their house during one of our storms. A tree branch actually went through the roof and punctured the bedroom ceiling. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and we were able to get their roof replaced and other necessary repairs completed.

Fires, regardless of size can create smoke and soot damage in a home. Exposure to these presents a significant health risk to, children, the elderly and those with compromised immune systems.

The Valley Restoration team recently completed a full mitigation and rebuild for a customer. Great work to all of those involved with getting this project completed and the homeowner being able to move back in!!

Fires, regardless of size can create smoke and soot damage in a home. Exposure to this presents a significant health risk for, children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.

We recently were chosen by a homeowner to provide the mitigation and repair work for a house that had caught fire. Part of the mitigation process for this job is Soda Blasting. In this application we are removing the soot off of the concrete blocks.

Bit of a pro tip on a Monday morning. Don't let those slow leaks go unattended.... Prolonged leaks, even small ones can wreak havoc on the structural integrity of your flooring.
