This past weekend we had the privilege of cutting the ribbon on Roger Allan Baseball’s new batting cages.

This has been a long and strenuous time coming, from all of us at Oakwood Builders we are always committed to our community and above and beyond that we especially very big supporters of local youth sports!

Back in the late summer/fall of 2022 we witnessed the original batting cage collapse at the park, and as many sports enthusiasts know, practice times are important and knowing how important the batting cages are to baseball to get the necessary reps in to help grow these players skills, we felt determined to help in anyway we could!

Through the baseball boards efforts for raising the funds to help cover material costs and all of the numerous donations from local hero’s throughout out community. With most of the material costs being covered, Oakwood was more than happy to step up and dismantle the old remnants of the batting cage and start the work of rebuilding it! Over the course of a couple weeks, we brought our crew and equipment over and got it back up and in shape for these great kids to be able to practice and enjoy for many, many years to come!

My son was in the baseball program at Roger Allan for more years than I can count since he was just a little bitty kid, and over those years I have had the opportunity to meet some of the most wonderful people that I call very close friends to this day, even though Hunter has grown and moved on from youth baseball we still have those connections and friends that have become family through the park. It was the least we could do to give back to a place that has given so much to not only my family but to an entire community ❤️

It feels like there is a proverbial mile of AZEK trim on this house but it’s going to look incredible when it’s all on! Vertical Board and Batten on the bottom and shakes on the upper section will really make this project pop!

We have jobs that are extremely exciting and challenging at the same time. Currently have jobs around Lake Winnipesaukee, including on several islands within the lake. These range from additions/ remodels to full on custom home build outs!

We also have a number of projects that are the framing only portion of new construction residential homes from Exeter, NH to Concord, NH.

The right individual ideally has 10+ years of experience in construction, the ability to manage 4-5 men under their supervision. The knowledge to problem solve that may arise to keep the project rolling and on schedule. The ability to read blueprints and have the foresight to see problems before they arise, communicate efficiently with the crew and project manager.

We pride ourselves in high quality, cleanliness and efficiency.

Very competitive pay (based on experience and performance) company provided outerwear and footwear allowance.

One way travel paid based on job location.

Performance based bonus and profit sharing.

Applying individuals must maintain a clean appearance, have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Have their own tool belt at minimum.

Fun little build for a very nice client out on Rattlesnake Island!

They needed more space for the grandkids so we built this bunkhouse. Awesome view of the lake walking out the front door!
