Deaf Health Lab The CCL Deaf Health Lab promotes health justice through research and initiatives in health priority

- With funding from the NTID’s Office of the Associate Dean of Research, the DHL is investigating health literacy in age-related preventive health among deaf college students.

- With funding from the National Institutes of Health, the DHL is collaborating with the University of Michigan to investigate the mechanisms of health literacy in deaf people with a particular focus on learning how deaf p

eople use and navigate websites to obtain health-related information.

- With funding from the National Institutes of Health, the DHL is collaborating with the University of Michigan and Brandeis University to examine the pregnancy-related experiences and outcomes of deaf and hard-of-hearing women.
