Just when you thought it was getting safer to buy heating oil...

With the latest ruckus erupting in Iran and the Straight of Hormuz the price of heating oil on the NYMEX is up 44 cents per gallon!! That's right now today at 11:00am. It will move from there but which direction? We are holding steady at $4.199/gallon but when we order the next tanker load all bets are off. Sorry šŸ˜¢

Anyway don't panic. Calm will return at some point but if you were on the fence and thinking about it...

Hi all! Summer seems like it is here, finally. We know oil is most likely one of the last things on your mind right now, but in case it isn't, we wanted to keep you updated here.

We are currently experiencing some issues with our website, and are unable to update prices there currently. Hopefully the website will be up and running again soon, but feel free to call with any pricing questions, or check out New England Oil, where we list updated prices daily.

Current cash prices are as follows:

#2- $4.699/gallon
Blend- $4.799/gallon
K-1- $5.499/gallon

If we don't see or hear from you, have a wonderful summer, and see you all next fall!

Okay. First the snow, now the cold. Winter really is here. Have you established a relationship with a heating oil delivery outfit yet? Now is the time. We highly recommend that you find one that fits your needs, is responsive and reasonably priced. While we obviously hope you pick us the important thing is to pick someone and stick with them. Don't wait until the last minute and then call around looking for the best price. You will likely wind up cold and disappointed. And don't forget - sometimes what looks like a great price has some "hidden" costs like environmental charges or taxes and delivery fees that are not explained in the advertising. Or, like Local Pride, the posted price may not show all the discounts that are available. Did you know that the price we post does not include the twenty cents per gallon you can save by going on Automatic Delivery, having Automatic credit card billing and being a senior or veteran? Compare that price to what's out there. (Plus we're really good at what we do... :-) )

Winter is here! First snow of the season, and it is shaping up to be a decent sized one. Because of this, we are closing our office at noon today. Stay safe out there, and we'll see you all tomorrow!
