This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never be forgotten.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to the families of the fallen, whose strength and sacrifice continue long after the service ends.

As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, may we take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who gave everything for our nation.

Our US office will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th.

🧪🍦 When Science Meets Sweet: Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Made by Our R&D Team!

At Pulcra Chemicals, innovation isn't just something we practice in the lab, it's part of our culture. And sometimes, the best experiments end up in a bowl.

We recently brought our team together for a little science + celebration, and our very own Phil Sims, R&D Director, and Ty Snipes, Senior Materials Scientist, took center stage; not with polymers or process chemistry this time, but with liquid nitrogen and ice cream! 🥶

Beyond the fun, moments like these remind us why we love what we do. The same curiosity, precision, and passion that drives our R&D team in their day-to-day work was on full display, just with a much more delicious result.

A huge thank you to Phil and Ty for bringing the science to life (and for making sure everyone got a bowl before it melted)! 🙌

This month marks 15 years of operations at our production facility in Rock Hill! 🎉
We celebrated this milestone with a great team lunch from City BBQ, along with a slideshow highlighting the evolution of our site, featuring renovations and the many colleagues who have been part of the journey over the years.
While not everyone was able to attend due to trade shows, customer visits, and other commitments, we were thrilled to have a strong turnout and capture a group photo to mark the occasion!
Thank you to all Pulcra Chemicals colleagues, past and present, who have contributed to 15 years of success in Rock Hill. We’re proud of what we’ve built together and excited for what’s ahead.

On Tuesday, we celebrated Employee Appreciation Day by hosting a breakfast for our employees. It was a great opportunity to start the morning together and recognize the hard work and dedication our team brings each day.

We are grateful for the commitment, teamwork, and positive impact our employees make across our organization. Thank you to everyone for the contributions you make that help drive our continued success.

Dr. Martin Luther was born on January 15th, 1929. He grew up in Atlanta, GA and attended Morehouse College – an all-male historically black college. After receiving his B.A. degree from Morehouse college, he attended Crozer Theological Seminary in Pennsylvania and enrolled in graduate studies at Boston University. In 1954, King became a pastor in Montogomery, Alabama and he started to become a strong worker for civil rights.

In 1955, King led the bus boycott, which was first great civil rights nonviolent demonstration of modern times. This was a mark of the beginning of a time where Martin Luther King Jr. led the civil rights movement traveling millions of miles, making thousands of speeches, and writing books and articles. On August 28th 1963, King delivered his famous “I Have Dream” speech at Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC before nearly 250,000 people. At age, 35 Martin Luther King Jr. was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day became the first National Day of Service when it was first celebrated in 1986. On January 19th, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his relentless passion for civil rights and his contributions to unity and freedom.

Our U.S. office will be closed on Monday, January 19th and will reopen on Tuesday, January 20th for observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
