JM Cope is proud to partner with Lincoln County on the new East Lincoln Library in Iron Station, NC — a 20,000 SF facility designed to address the area's space shortage and serve the county's growing population. Built with future growth in mind, this new library will provide much-needed resources to the community while helping relieve the Florence S. Shanklin Branch Library as the region continues to expand — a key step in supporting the educational and cultural needs of Lincoln County for years to come.

On May 5th, our team joined Iredell-Statesville Schools, ADW Architects and community leaders to officially break ground on Parkertown Elementary School in Mooresville, NC.

What’s coming to 218 Parkertown Road:

→ ~87,000 SF one-story facility
→ 720 students with capacity for 900
→ Expanded gym, cafeteria, and media center
→ Flexible learning spaces designed for how students learn today

Parkertown Elementary represents Iredell-Statesville Schools’ commitment to keeping pace with the district’s growth while investing in modern, student-centered learning environments. JM Cope is proud to partner with Alleghany County Schools on the new Alleghany High School, Sparta, NC — a state-of-the-art 180,000 SF facility designed to support future generations with modern classrooms, advanced CTE spaces, collaborative learning environments, and upgraded athletic and performing arts facilities.

Currently in Phase 1, crews are completing load-bearing masonry and structural steel while roof decking is underway. Upcoming work includes roofing and light gauge metal trusses as the building continues to dry in.
We’re excited to help bring this transformational project to life.

Big things are taking shape in Indian Land, SC! 🚧

We’re excited to be building a brand new 6,500 SF Ivybrook Academy Indian Land daycare facility, designed to support early childhood learning in a safe, modern, and inspiring environment.

From initial sitework and underground utilities to forming the foundation, progress is moving steadily toward bringing this vision to life. This new space will soon serve families in the community with high-quality care and education.
