Last Friday, we welcomed clients, trade partners, and friends to Rocky Creek Sporting Events for our J.M. Cope Partnership Appreciation Clay Shoot. More than a day of friendly competition, the event was an opportunity to connect outside of the jobsite, strengthen relationships, and say thank you to the partners who continue to support J.M. Cope.

Together, we raised $4,000 for Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas, supporting children and families facing childhood cancer. A special thank you to our event sponsors, raffle donors, and everyone who purchased raffle tickets or made a contribution—your generosity made this impact possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We value the relationships we’ve built across the Carolinas and look forward to continuing to build together.

Construction is moving forward at the new Alleghany High School, Sparta, NC.

The 170,000-SF school is taking shape, with the building envelope nearing completion, dry-in achieved, interior finishes underway, and permanent power coming online soon. Designed to serve an active student body of 720 students, the school’s core facilities can accommodate up to 900 students, providing room to serve Alleghany County well into the future. The new school will feature contemporary classrooms, advanced CTE spaces, collaborative learning areas, and upgraded athletic and performing arts facilities.

One of the most unique aspects of this project? Construction is happening just 18 feet from the existing high school while school and athletic activities continue on campus. Careful phasing, site logistics, and daily coordination keep construction moving while maintaining ongoing school operations.

Many thanks to the amazing Alleghany team keeping students safe and the project moving smoothly toward completion.

Construction is complete on Lander University's new Nursing Building. Students are learning inside these walls.

Designed around hands-on education, the new facility gives nursing students simulation labs, lab monitoring rooms, classrooms, and collaboration spaces to practice and prepare for the real-world environments they’ll encounter throughout their careers.

Projects like this remind us that the impact of construction goes far beyond a finished building. Lander has identified nursing as one of its largest academic programs, and that the expanded facilities are part of its effort to prepare more qualified nurses to meet healthcare workforce needs across South Carolina.

We’re proud to have partnered with Lander University to bring this new learning environment to life—and even more excited to see what happens inside it.

Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage of the first responders and everyday heroes who stepped forward, and reflect on the strength and unity that followed.

Exciting progress on the La Grace Spiritual Retreat Center in Fountain Inn, SC! 🌿

Set on a beautiful 16-acre site surrounded by nature, this new wellness center is thoughtfully designed to create a peaceful, welcoming environment. The campus will feature landscaped gardens, two 40-room residences, and a multipurpose retreat building designed to bring people together.
