Byrne Tool + Design 3D printed this EOAT vacuum plate, which contains an internal airline and suction cups! This plate will be used to pull parts out of the mold and put the parts on a conveyor.

By 3D printing instead of machining, we were able to reduce the mass by 74% and the price by 46%!

Today we want to congratulate Mike Bensted on his 8 year work anniversary with Byrne Tool + Design. Mike is the CNC operator who runs our 5 axis machine and does the scheduling for our CNC department. Mike is hard working, flexible, and is always looking for a way to make things work. Thanks for 8 years of hard work Mike!
