This morning, in celebration of EOM (Employee Ownership Month), Steel Pro Employee Owners were treated to donuts from Frank's Bakery & Custom Catering in Bangor, Maine.

Every October Steel-Pro celebrates EOM all month long with daily trivia, daily wordle, a cribbage tournament, and special lunches as a thank you to our employee owners.

Please join us in welcoming Bryson Mattox, Steel-Pro’s newest employee-owner!

Bryson recently joined Steel-Pro as a Fabricator, bringing a strong background in metal fabrication, machining, welding, and technical training to our team.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Oceanside High School, Bryson attended Mid-Coast School of Technology where he studied Composite Manufacturing and Auto Collision and was a member of the National Technical Honor Society.

Following high school, Bryson attended Central Maine Community College (CMCC), earning an Associate Degree in Metal Fabrication along with a Certificate in Precision Machining. While at CMCC, he was named to the Dean’s List and was a member of the Golf Team.

Before joining Steel-Pro, Bryson gained valuable hands-on experience in several roles, including:

Journey’s End Marine – Fabricator, repairing, fabricating, and modifying metal components and marine structures
Sallinen’s Body & Fender, Inc. – Collision Repair Technician Apprentice
Lyman Morse – Composite Technician Apprentice

Bryson’s strengths include attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and teamwork. His experience with blueprint reading, metal fabrication, and MIG and TIG welding makes him a valuable addition to the Steel-Pro team.

We’re excited to have Bryson on board and look forward to the contributions he’ll make as a member of the Steel-Pro team.

Please join us in welcoming Gage Esancy, Steel-Pro’s newest employee-owner!

Gage recently joined Steel-Pro as a Welder, bringing a strong background in metal fabrication, machining, welding, and technical training to our team.

Gage is a recent graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School. He also attended Mid-Coast School of Technology for two years in the welding program.

Before joining Steel-Pro, Gage gained valuable hands-on experience in several roles, including:

Rock Hill Construction – Laborer performing mechanical and repair work on trucks and equipment, site preparation and maintenance, material handling, equipment operaton, and structural building
Rollin’s Auto Body. – Laborer performing mechanical repair, body repair, panel replacement, frame and structural correction, surface prep, and painting and finishing.

Gage’s strengths include flexibility, strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and versatility.

We’re excited to have Gage on board and look forward to the contributions he’ll make as a member of the Steel-Pro team.

Please welcome back Spencer Priest. Spencer has been rehired as a Welder and returned on 8/24/2026. Spencer attended Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln, Maine as well as NPT Region III. Most recently Spencer worked at BIW and he also worked as a Structural Welder for Cianbro. Prior to that, he worked as a Screen printer and a Landscaper. Welcome back to Steel Pro. We’re glad you found your way back.
