We join the world in welcoming home the crew of Artemis II: Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen. Yesterday's successful splashdown in the Pacific marks a defining moment in human spaceflight, and we are honored to have played a role in making this historic mission possible.

Since May of 2013, our team has supported NASA's Exploration Ground Systems program through extensive modifications to the Mobile Launcher. This wouldn't have been possible without our dedicated team and subcontractors and the thousands of hours spent engineering, fabricating, and installing the systems that helped carry this crew safely to the Moon and back.

Thank you Astronaut Victor Glover for the awesome visit to JP Donovan! Glover most recently served as Pilot of Crew-1 Dragon and has now been assigned Pilot of NASA’s Artemis II mission planned to launch in 2025. It was an honor to meet him, hear his inspiring story and give him a tour of the shop!

He even got to step inside the Crew Access Arm (see below) which the four Artemis II Astronauts will walk across to board the rocket. Thank you from our entire team!

United Launch Alliance featuring the JPD Fabrication shop! This Vulcan Launch Platform will be on its way to CCSFB soon

The second Vulcan Launch Platform is making excellent progress and will soon be arriving at the Cape!

The addition of Vulcan Launch Platform-2, or VLP-2, will help establish Lane 2, a second launch processing capability for Vulcan facilities to meet demand for higher launch rate cadence from Project Kuiper and other customers.

Check out our latest project inside the VAB! Installing 1 of 4 Strand Jack Platforms at 432 feet. Each weighing 38,000lbs, these will enable NASA to adjust the levels of the extensible platforms for future Artemis SLS Missions.

From our shop, to the top of the Mobile Launcher!

"The idea is that these baskets will be able to quickly rise up like a cherry picker and whisk any astronauts or other NASA personnel away from the Artemis II rocket and capsule in the event of an emergency during the lead up and countdown before take off"

If something goes wrong during the Artemis II countdown, the four astronauts now have a way to get off the launchpad safely.
