⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

Trust is earned slowly.

It’s built in the little things — showing up, staying with the problem until there’s an answer, and doing what you said you would do along the way.

Short reviews like this carry a lot of weight because they speak straight to character. And for someone to describe a company as trustworthy in today’s world… that’s not something we ever want to take for granted.

Really thankful this customer took the time to leave this here. ❤️🔥

Appreciation is the 4th and final pillar of our core values here at Firehouse.

In this clip, Wes talks about the moments that often go unseen.

The conversation a technician has with a customer.
The extra effort that nobody asks for.
The small acts of kindness that happen when no one is watching.

Most of those moments never make it back to the office.

But we know they happen because we hear about them in reviews, phone calls, and conversations with customers.

Wes shared a simple truth:

If appreciation is missing in a business, a family, a marriage, or a team... it won't stay healthy for very long.

We all want to feel appreciated.

The challenge is that appreciation doesn't happen by accident.

It happens when someone takes the time to notice.

To slow down.

To see the little things.

And to say something right then and there.

Not next week.
Not when it's more convenient.

Now.

With coworkers.
With spouses.
With kids.
With friends.

This week's challenge was simple:

Find three people in your world and thank them.

Because if you want to be seen...

You have to see others first.

That's part of The Firehouse Way. ❤️‍🔥

⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

There’s something powerful about a customer saying, “I want that technician back every time.”

Not because of a sales pitch. Not because someone pushed something unnecessary. But because they felt listened to, respected, and genuinely helped.

Reviews like this remind us how much honesty and education still matter to people. And the fact that someone would take time out of their day to publicly share that experience means more to our team than they probably realize.

We’re incredibly thankful for customers who support small businesses this way and allow us to keep showing up for families in our community. ❤️🔥

Trust and respect are part of our core values here at Firehouse.

And in this clip, Wes talks honestly about how easy it can be to damage those things without even realizing it.

He shares something he learned early on in marriage—that sometimes it’s easy to focus on what wasn’t done… while missing what the other person may be carrying in that moment.

That’s where the conversation shifts.

Relationships are a lot like a bank account.

You can make deposits…
and you can make withdrawals.

Encouragement.
Patience.
Grace.
Assuming the best in someone.
Those are deposits.

Being critical.
Going on the hunt for what someone did wrong.
Leading with frustration instead of understanding.
Those are withdrawals.

And the truth is, life and relationships go a whole lot smoother when we stop looking for withdrawals…
and start looking for ways to make deposits instead.

At work.
At home.
In friendships.
In marriage.

That’s part of The Firehouse Way. ❤️‍🔥

Today, we slow down and remember the men and women who laid down their lives in service to this country. Not for recognition. Not for applause. But because they believed protecting others mattered more than protecting themselves.

That kind of sacrifice deserves more than a passing thought between cookouts and sales ads. It deserves pause. Gratitude. Honor.

Memorial Day reminds us that some gave everything.

Behind every fallen service member is a family who kept going. Parents. Spouses. Children. Friends. People who carry both pride and grief at the same time. We especially want to acknowledge them today.

We also want to say thank you to the quiet heroes in our communities ...the ones who continue serving others with humility, integrity, and heart. The people who still believe neighbors should help neighbors.

That spirit matters. Now more than ever.

As you spend time with family today, laugh around the table, enjoy good food, or simply rest for a moment, we hope there’s also space to remember why this day exists in the first place. Freedom has always been carried on the backs of ordinary people willing to do extraordinary things for others.

From our Firehouse family to yours, thank you to those who gave all, and to the families who continue carrying their legacy forward. We remember them today. ❤️🤍💙

⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

We never expect anyone to pause their day to write something like this — which is exactly why it means so much when they do.

There’s intention behind kind words. Time, thought, and care. And that’s not something we take lightly.

We’re truly thankful they chose to share their experience and let us be a part of their home.

That kind of generosity stays with us. ❤️🔥

Sometimes going above and beyond looks a lot simpler than people think.

In this clip, Wes talks about the importance of follow up… and just being willing to help people in the moment.

He brought up those moments where someone casually says:
“Hey, I think my AC may be having issues.”
or
“I probably need a tune-up.”

Wes challenged us not to let those moments pass by.

To be good stewards of the opportunities and relationships placed in front of us.

Instead of saying “Call the office later,”
why not help them right then and there?

He shared a story about needing a sewer pump company one time. He spoke with an employee in person, but instead of helping him directly, he was told to just call the number on the truck.

And honestly?

Life got busy.
He never called.

Not because he didn’t want to.
Just because life happens.

That’s why follow up matters so much.

Sometimes people aren’t ignoring you…
they just have a hundred things in their head.

Wes also gave a shoutout to Tony over at Riddle Brothers Roofing for doing such a great job with follow up and asking for referrals.

Because when someone reaches back out and makes it easy for you?
It can make a world of difference.

So this week’s challenge was simple:

Go the extra step.
Make the call.
Send the follow up.
Ask for the referral.

Be like Tony. 😂❤️‍🔥

⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

Some people just want the job done.
Others want to understand what’s going on in their home — and they deserve that.

This one stood out because they didn’t feel rushed. They felt heard. Questions answered, not brushed off.

That kind of patience matters more than people realize. It turns a service call into something a lot more comfortable.

We’re really grateful they took a second to share that. It doesn’t go unnoticed. ❤️🔥

Sometimes the work behind the scenes doesn’t get seen.

In this clip, Wes takes a moment to recognize James.

Out on one of our larger multifamily jobs…
handling 5–6 duct cleans a day, on his own.

Long days.
Dirty work.
No shortcuts.

And through all of it… a great attitude.

Wes shared that we’ve been hearing really good things—
from both the team and the residents.

And the customers who’ve gotten to meet James?
They absolutely love him.

And we do too.

We’re truly grateful to have him on this team. The kind of person who shows up, works hard, keeps a good attitude, and treats people well no matter how long the day is.

That kind of character can’t be taught.

It’s felt.

And it makes a difference everywhere he goes.

Proud of you, James. 💪❤️‍🔥
