Freezing rain and heavy snow can be tough on your outdoor unit. During winter storms, switching your system to ⚠️EMERGENCY HEAT⚠️ helps protect it from ice and debris by keeping the outdoor fan from running.

Once conditions improve and temperatures rise, switch back to normal heat mode.

You may notice a slight increase in energy use, but short-term use can help prevent costly damage.
