Some renovations call for a new exterior element that feels distinctly modern while still fitting the character of an existing building.

At 1 North Dearborn in downtown Chicago, a newly designed entrance features Americlad’s Patriot Red AC-1200 Composite Panels. The building, originally constructed in the early 1900s as a Boston Company Department Store, now pairs its historic roots with a bold contemporary entrance.

A new patient tower can bring together a lot of moving pieces, including the exterior systems that help support the building’s design and performance.

For Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Americlad’s AC-97SC Louvers were featured on an eight-story, 326,000-square-foot patient tower completed to LEED Silver standards.

The project helped advance Advocate Healthcare’s mission of providing world-class care to local communities.
