🌟🎉 Employee Spotlight: James "Slim" Zellman 🎉🌟

“You could not ask for a better guy.” A comment said multiple times during his spotlight nomination, Slim is a no-nonsense kind of individual who never wants to take credit when credit is due. This recognition is long overdue. He always gets the job done no matter the circumstances at hand. He has never slowed down and still works just as hard as he did when he was 21 years old.

Everyday Slim shows up with a positive attitude and a smile, all while setting the pace for the crew. He is the first to offer up his help wherever it is needed. Over the years he has developed and shaped many individuals by sharing his paving knowledge and showing them the ropes. He always makes people feel welcome and wants everyone to succeed. Slim has been with the company for over 31 years, this alone deserves recognition and shows the dedication and commitment he has given and continues to give to the company.

Slim, countless individuals have looked up to you and have aspired to emulate you, and you should be extremely proud of that! Most of all, we thank you for all the memories and friendships that have been created along the way.

Minnesota skies lit up early this morning! 🌌
Dennis Simonson captured these stunning photos from our St. Cloud Shop as the northern lights danced overhead. The display was thanks to a strong geomagnetic storm, caused by solar particles colliding with Earth’s atmosphere — creating those incredible pinks and greens across the sky. It was a good day for this frog! 🐸
Karl Kosel was at the Hwy 60 project in Lake Crystal when he spotted a frog trapped between the hot asphalt and a jersey barrier. He hopped on over and rescued the frog, releasing it into the lake.
