Job Summary:
The Packing Operator is responsible for packing the final product.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Monitors and controls the material as it comes to the Packing Area
• Weighs and sorts final product to assess quality and identify defects
• Maintains machines within work area, complying with company and OSHA rules and regulations
• Regulates machine flow; stops and resets machine to address issues
• Frequently uses banding guns and forklifts to complete tasks and transport items
• Any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization’s Values

Physical Requirements:
• Frequently required to talk and hear
• Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel
• Frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; taste and smell
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Environment:

Education/Training/Experience
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
