Raking Up a Difference for a Great Cause! 🍁 Our Life Science Optics team and colleagues from Pulsafeeder and Materials Science Solutions in proudly partnered with LifeSpan for the annual Rake a Difference event this November. Lifespan of Greater Rochester is a crucial regional nonprofit that provides guidance and services to older adults and caregivers in Monroe and the Finger Lakes counties.

In addition to a $20K donation to Lifespan from the IDEX Foundation, we had 23 dedicated employees cover 2.5 acres across nine homes! The results? Eight truckloads of leaves, 120+ filled leaf bags, and 40 tarp-fulls were dragged to the curb to help recipients prepare their properties for winter.

Thank you to the IDEX Foundation and to all our volunteers for supporting our local community and helping neighbors prepare for winter.

From April through June, the IDEX Foundation challenged businesses across IDEX to take action against food insecurity, and the results were incredible from IDEX Health & Science💙!

✅ Over 8,000 lbs of food collected by our amazing employees
✅ $10,000 donated to each local food bank chosen by our business units
✅ $50,000 in total donations from IDEX Health & Science

This was our fourth Food Insecurity Campaign, and it’s proof that when we come together, we can make a real difference in our communities.

🐾 It was all paws on deck at Assistance Dogs 🐶...

Our amazing Oak Harbor team rolled up their sleeves to help prepare for the grand opening of the brand-new Canine Condo.

Here’s what they accomplished:

• 🧼 Cleaned 150 windows
• 🧹 Vacuumed & mopped 4,800 sq ft of flooring
• 🛏️ Assembled 8 cozy doggie beds
• 🐕 Walked and socialized service dogs

Summit Assistance Dogs provides highly skilled mobility service dogs to people living with disabilities, creating life-changing partnerships. The new Canine Condo will serve as a kennel facility for their resident pups—and it’s already making tails wag!

The grand opening drew over 200 guests (plus lots of four-legged attendees), and everyone was impressed by the new space. THANK YOU to our volunteers and to the IDEX Foundation for their generous $60,000 donation to install specialized, long-lasting non-slip flooring.

Our Oak Harbor team has joined forces with Bonkers Over Outrageous Books (B***s), an organization dedicated to bringing comfort and joy to breast cancer patients through books and support 🎗️💗. Thanks to a generous $7,500 donation from the IDEX Foundation, this partnership will continue throughout 2025.

At the recent Whidbey Island Culture Fest, a group of employees volunteered at the booth, spreading awareness and handing out bookmarks. This non-profit was founded in September 2024 and is already making a difference in the community.

Our team is excited to continue supporting the organization with various volunteer activities, including:

• Creating bracelets for “Boobie” bags, filled with goodies and books, to be placed on decorated carts at infusion centers in Oak Harbor and Skagit County
• Donating hand-knitted hats to bring warmth and comfort to patients
• Driving to infusion centers to replenish these carts as needed

Thanks to our Oak Harbor team for making a positive impact and showing the power of community spirit.

A group of employees in Rohnert Park volunteered at Chop’s Teen Club in Santa Rosa. The team spent their time cleaning the facility and organizing projects. The mission of Chop’s Teen Club is to provide a safe, fun, and productive space where teens can engage, connect, and discover their true potential. IDEX Foundation also donated $5,000.
