2026 CDRA DRONE SIM TOURNAMENT WINNERS❕🏆

We are so incredibly proud of our top 3 drone racing pilots on our team to have won the 2026 eSport Collegiate Drone Racing tournament on Saturday! Team members, .nguyen and , went up against the top collegiate drone racers in a relay drone race. With strategic planning on the relay and many hours of practice, our drone racers worked so hard and they deserve this win.

Against 17 schools, Missouri S&T is first! Congrats to the rest of the podium as it was close for a while, but later on our Multirotor team got ahead and won this race by 3 whole laps! 2nd place: Virginia Tech, 3rd place: Purdue University.

As of today, our crowdfunding campaign has officially ended. Thanks to all of your incredible support, we were able to raise $6,600, reaching both of our goals, and allowing us to fund all of our competition travel!! We’re excited to represent both our university and our country at our international competitions.

We’ll be posting updates about our competition progress on the campaign page, our (soon-to-be revamped) website, and all of our social media, which you can find on our website. We are very excited to showcase everything we’ve been working on this year!

Ready for takeoff! The Missouri S&T Multirotor Design Team is officially launching our crowdfunding campaign to raise $2,500!

Our racing team will be competing in the Collegiate Drone Racing Championship with 7 pilots racing. Our second competition is the Student Unmanned Aerial Systems where our team has built a fully autonomous drone that is tasked with search and rescue missions! Lastly, our team will be returning for the first time in 7 years to the International Aerial Robotic Competition to compete in Mission 10, a humanitarian mission to safely guide someone across a minefield while pushing the limits of compact computing. Every contribution helps keep us flying!
