Some people come to work at The Fairbanks Company.

Ted Newberry grew up around it.

Ted’s connection to Fairbanks started long before he officially became an employee. As a young child, his father would bring him to the plant on weekends, where Ted spent time around the shop and saw firsthand the kind of work, discipline, and pride that helped build this company.

That connection became part of his life.

Ted has now worked at The Fairbanks Company for 35 years, carrying forward a family legacy that runs deep inside these walls. His father worked here. His mother worked here. Both of his father’s brothers worked here as well.

Few families have had that kind of long-standing connection to one company.

For Ted and the Newberry family, Fairbanks has been more than a workplace. It has been part of their family story for generations.

We are proud to recognize Ted Newberry for 35 years of service, dedication, and craftsmanship. His work, his loyalty, and his family’s history are part of the story of The Fairbanks Company — and we are grateful for all that he and his family have contributed over the years.

Today, we want to recognize and congratulate Kerry B. Mann as he starts an exciting new chapter.

Kerry has been a hard-working, dedicated employee at The Fairbanks Company for many years, and we appreciate everything he has done for us and the positive attitude he brought to work every day.

Kerry has also been building his career as a content creator for many years, growing to more than 1.4 million followers on TikTok, along with followers on Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms. He is now leaving Fairbanks to pursue that dream full-time as a videographer and content creator.

Generations of Fairbanks Craftsmanship
At The Fairbanks Company in Rome, Georgia, our history is more than the equipment we build. It is also the people and families who have helped build this company across generations.
Pictured here is John Roberson, a welder at The Fairbanks Company. His grandfather, Howard Kennemore, is shown seated in our 1936 employee photograph among the men who helped shape Fairbanks during an earlier chapter of American manufacturing.
That kind of legacy is rare.
We are proud to recognize John, his grandfather Howard Kennemore, and the many Fairbanks employees—past and present—whose hard work has made this company what it is today.
