Atlanta delivered.

was a busy one for the 7robotics team. Our booth was active with visitors as Mike, Camren, and Joey shared the progress behind current projects and talked through the technology we’re excited to bring next.

We were also proud to join Lignum Consulting GmbH’s Wood Industry Innovation Tours on “Industry 5.0 and the Smart Factory” alongside fellow manufacturers and industry experts, and to co-host an Atlanta Braves vs. Dodgers customer appreciation night with Con-Vey.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, joined the conversation, and spent time with us this week. The momentum is real, and we’re just getting started. 🚀

What a way to kick off !

Our first Industry 5.0 & Smart Factory Innovation Tour wrapped up today, and we were excited to welcome the group to the 7robotics booth.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and stuck around for conversations after the presentation. It was great to see the interest in how robotics and automation can play a role in the smarter, more connected factory.

And that wasn’t the only excitement on the show floor today. The 7robotics booth stayed busy with customers, industry partners, and new conversations throughout the day.

Missed today’s tour? There are two more opportunities:
➡️ Wednesday, Aug. 26 | 2:30–4:00 PM
➡️ Thursday, Aug. 27 | 10:00–11:30 AM

📍 Find us at Booth throughout IWF.
Come see what we’re building.

This isn't just a robot. It's a whole system talking to itself. And that's the beauty of being an integrator.

Our 6700 robotic feeder does more than move wood. It's the hub for a full integrated system: vacuum tooling with built-in sensors, laser scanning, moisture and strength testing, and a laser marker that prints custom results on every board.

The robot picks it up. The scanner grades it. The system compiles the data. The marker prints it. All before the board even reaches the end of the line.

Ever thought about automating your clamp press?

We simulated a 7robotics arm paired with a James L. Taylor Door Pro. The robot loads the door, the machine clamps and squares it, indexes to the next station, and the robot pulls it out.

Feeding the cell can be done by hand, forklift, or conveyor depending on your volume and how autonomous you want the operation to run. Works for doors, cabinet boxes, or any glued stile and rail assembly.

Yesterday, Joey and Mike spent the day at the North Douglas School District career fair talking with students about careers in robotics, automation, and manufacturing.

Our setup gave students a chance to try out a VR headset, ask questions, and get a closer look at the kind of technology shaping the future of industry.

Thanks to North Douglas for having us! And to all the students who stopped by to connect with the team. 🙏

Built for consistency. Designed for real-world mill operation.

In this shop test, our Robotic Lumber QC System handles 13’ boards from pickup through final output.
Each layer is placed, singulated, scanned, weighed, strength-tested, and laser-marked with a unique ID and QR code.

You’ll see the full flow:
🔸 Layer pickup and infeed
🔸 Board-by-board singulation and scanning
🔸 Moisture and weight measurement
🔸 Strength grading
🔸 Laser marking for full traceability

The same system also supports kiln stick handling with a semi-automated stacking process, giving operators flexibility where it counts.

It’s a practical look at how robotics can bring consistency, visibility, and control to lumber grading.

Joey spent the week in Atlanta covering ground at MODEX and PELICE - connecting with customers, partners, and plenty of familiar faces along the way.

Automation continues to be a major focus across industries, and it’s always good to be part of those conversations in person.
