The Squid is our answer to to constant feedback from contractors about how important accurate water is in every batch.

One contractor told us he has his most experienced guy only preparing and adding water to the batches. One experienced pair of hands is a high cost, but still cheaper than a failed batch and the rework costs.

Water ratio is the most sensitive variable in a self-leveling pour. The margin between a good batch and a weak one is small, and a failed batch on a big pour can cost thousands to repair.

That's why we built the Squid.

Do you really need the reusable liner with the Portamix? 👀

Short answer… yes.

Using a reusable liner helps protect the mixer from material build-up, speeds up clean-down time and keeps the machine in better condition between jobs 💪

Without one, leftover material can be much harder to remove — which is why cleaning charges may apply if the machine comes back heavily contaminated.

We also recommend keeping:
✔ A bag of rags
✔ A tub of thinners

on hand to make cleanup quicker and easier on site 👌
